Nugget is a 5 month old Poodle in San Francisco , CA, who needs $877 for Xray and Bandage Changes.

We got nugget about 4 months ago, we felt as though she was sent to us through a time of hurt, I was recovering from surgery and went through a deep depression and needed an emotional support animal, my wife bought her as a gift to help me through this hardship in my life. I’ve had many animals in my life but none has ever filled my heart as much as nugget has. She means a lot to my family and me.

On April 6th 2025 my baby broke her four metatarsals on her back foot I rushed her to my vet on the 7th and they did a X-ray and said she needed to have surgery the estimate for the surgery was 9,299.25 she is know being seen by vets in vans to try and save her leg.

Nugget is the best dog and I don’t say this because she is mine but because everyone she meets she touches she is a special dog with allot of personality and she has one heck of a side eye lol. She goes everywhere I go and gets to meet lots of people I can’t imagine my life without her

I had 90 percent of my colon removed and spent 20 hours in surgery last year and I’m currently still unable to work I don’t want her to lose her leg and want to give her the best chance to possibly recover fully but I’m unable to pay her medical bills
