About this campaign
We got Nymeria as a puppy back in 2015. She has been a crazy, loving, empathetic, protective dog through her life. She will be 10 in September and has been spunky, wild and crazy to this day!
We just moved to Battle Creek, MI and are still working on settling in.
Nymeria is one of two dogs in our home. We also have Grizzly who is 7. We also have a two year old toddler Theo.
We took Nymeria to the VCA of Marshall, MI for GI issues on June 17th and that is when they detected a mass on her spleen. We took her June 23 to Animal Ultrasound services and they let us know that it indeed is a mass on her spleen and she will need spleen removal surgery for her to live any significant amount of time without the mass rupturing.
This dog is one of the most unique animals I have ever owned.
Not only has she saved us a few times from life threatening situations by alerting us before we even knew what was happening, but she has been through my side through so many seasons of my life.
Guided me and helped me cope. Gave me a reason to get out of bed. She is such a good girl and deserves to feel better.
We have a two year old and just moved into a new house and are struggling financially. We have spent $1,300.00 this week on Nymeria’s vet bills and now are being presented with the bill for this. The decision to proceed unfortunately is coming down to financial ability
