Nyx is a 1-year-old Border collie mix in Marion , VA, who needs $850 for Leg exam.

Our baby girl came into our life before she was even ready to leave her momma. The person we received her from tried to make it out like she was off of milk when I’m all reality she wasn’t. So I had to nurse her myself until she was ready for soft puppy food. Just the little bit of time we’ve had her she’s made a huge impact on our lives and made a bond with my little girl.

Our Nyx and our baby girl have made a friendship so strong you’d think it was in a movie. She loves to snuggle up close to my little girl or nibble on her toes and fingers to make her giggle. So I’d have to say my daughter is her favorite person, even when she cuddles with me at night if I was to let her sleep in the crib with my daughter she would definitely choose to do that.

My husband has recently lost his job and I’m a full time wife and mother of a one year old and a 3 month old. Due to him losing his job we have no way of paying off the costs of her visit or for the surgery. I can’t stand to see her in pain and I don’t want to surrender her.

I’m here today because my baby girl has either broke her leg or dislocated her hip. I was in the kitchen putting up stuff and as hyper as my baby is she was jumping up and down at my leg like she always does and ended up falling the wrong way on her back leg. I’ve tried different vet clinics to see if I couldn’t make the payments when I could but they require some sort of payment after the visit.

My fur baby is special to our family because we’ve made a bond. We don’t look at her as just an animal we see her as a meme we of our little growing family. The way she digs her nose in the blankets to the way she snores when she’s asleep is absolutely adorable. And everyone that has met our little ball of energy has just adored her because she’s such a sweet baby.
