O’Malley is a 11 year old American Longhair in Santa Monica , CA, who needs $12,000 for Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKG) Hospitalization.

We adopted him from a place known as Adopt and Shop. He was a rescued cat and has been with us through four moves from apartment to house to house and to current house. My wife and daughter and son moved with him as we were trying to get more reasonable rent. He adapted and loved us wherever we have landed. Our current house has upstairs bedrooms and though he is 11 he moved well up and down.

O’Malley as mentioned is 11 and he began losing weight slowly 4 or 5 months ago and got very thin. He recently stopped eating and when we took him to the vet he is diagnosed diabetic and is in emergency hospital with IV to stabilize his vitals and get him to be able to eat again — this may take 3 to 7 days hospitalization at $4000 a day which we sadly cannot afford — he is very ill but can recove

O’Malley is an inspiration to our family — was a life saver for my wife who was struggling with some health issues and my son’s OCD which with O’Malley’s kind presence literally saved both their lives.

Because of the seriousness of O’Malley’s health he must be hospitalized with an IV to help him to be able to eat again. In hospitals costs are $4000 a day and he needs 3 to 7 days to recover. I am the sole earner and cannot sustain this bill to save his life
