Oakland was being sold because his owner was moving. I wanted a playmate for Jack and Evangeline needed a little friend since everyone else is in school. He appeared healthy when I met him, but my heart told me other wise. He smelled of urine, his coat was sparse and he just seemed sad. I couldn't leave him behind. So home he came with me, and off we set on the journey to getting better together.

Oakland is loved by everyone, especially my husband who in truth needed a small friend to just sit with him. He is the cutest little goofball and it's like he never knew carpet before we brought him home, he loves to tootsie roll all over it. He absolutely loves my kids, which is a huge plus and gets so excited when he sees them, his little butt even wiggles. He is such a sweet sweet boy.

As many of you know that actually know me, know that I have a deep love for animals, they were my only source of comfort growing up and often times are the friends I desperately need. Oakland is that sweet little missing piece that just fills a void, his sweet little face peering up at me and shadowing me around the house just melts my heart.

Currently we are working on shots, as he is already neutered but no records were supplied. I took him in on the suspicion that something was wrong with his teeth because the smell was outrageous. His teeth aren't even visible. He's under the care of the animal medical center of Ontario and he desperately needs a cleaning and extractions due to rotting teeth.
