About this campaign

Hello
The beginning of this year I rescued my husky, Oakley, as I have all my cats and one other dog. We have a fenced in front yard and I assume he jumped the fence last night. He’s never gotten out before so I’m not completely sure. He ended up getting hit by a truck. I took him to the er vet which unfortunately exhausted my funds. He has a broken pelvis and tail and needs to see an orthopedic.

Oakley has been scared of men since I got him, so he’s mom’s baby. He has come very far in his comfort level with my sons and husband. He becoming more social slowly as he used to hate going to the park.

Oakley whines and talks when I leave him for what he feels is too long. He loves to play with his siblings- two and four legged. He’s a beautiful baby.

There’s no background to his condition. He was hit by a truck after he escaped the fence. The guy did stop but at soon as I mentioned a bet bill, he left. He was seen last night at our local ER vet. Today our regular vet looked at his X-rays and suggested cheat lake animal hospital. Unfortunately I don’t have funding for further treatment currently.

To have this taken care of would relieve so much stress. It’s the holiday season and not only do I have other fur babies, I have several children as well ( both bio and foster). This unexpected expense is taking a huge toll on my mental health as well.
