Oakley joined our family in 2019 when we bought our first house. He has become part of the family joining his sister (our other german shepard) and our 3 cats. Oakley has the kindest heart with unconditional love. He's one of our 5 fur babies and has been an amazing companion to our 2 human children.

Oakley is currently a patient staying at Florida Veterinary Referral Center/24 hour Emergency Hospital in critical, yet stable as of now condition.
Oakley started vomiting and didn't want to eat this week. Come to find out he was in serious sudden liver failure. We still have not found the cause whether he ingested something or contracted a serious infection.

I can't emphasize enough how sweet and deserving Oakley is. How can you put a price on an animal's life? Even on our worst days, he manages to go throughout life with a dog smile. He's become our daughters' best friend, emotional support, and we really can't imagine life without him. He is 5 years young with so much more life to live.

We desperately need help to save his life. I work as a nurse practitioner part time while raising our 2 daughters (8 months & 3 yrs old) while my husband runs a fulltime business. We have worked for everything we have, however, financial support has run dry at this point.
