Oats is a 6-year-old Great Dane/Saint Bernard Mix in Fort Walton Beach, FL, who needs $2,000 for Knee Surgery.

He was owner surrender, & I volunteered to foster him, he then went to service dog training & tore his knee & I was honored to foster again.We fell in love.He has 2 brothers, 1 was a foster w/bad life & my adopted dog.He loves telling the squirrels to get out of yard & that’s when he hurt his other knee just like the first time.Hes a very big goofy, smart dog that wants to chase & play again.

My dogs have their own living room furniture but he just wants to be in our room even if it’s on the floor.He loves treats, toys, bones & horsing around w/tug a war or wrestling on the bed.He is super smart & very well mannered & so loving.He loves walks, playing fetch.He forgets he’s 100+ pounds & his paws could knock you out.If you met him you love him too.

He’s facial expressions esp his droopy eyes will get anyone’s heart to melt or laugh.When standing next to you he loves leaning on your leg to take a load off.He loves kids, other doggies, digging holes & burying his bones or toys.

When he tore his right knee during playtime at service dog training we knew there was a 50% chance of doin the other leg & it happened.He was laying down outside & heard a noise & jumped up to run see & tore the other knee.With him being so big & a little awkward, my baby hurt himself again.We have tried to make him as comfortable as possible & spoil him a lil more.

I wish we had emergency funds but we don’t make that kind of money.I didn’t expect him to hurt his other leg within a couple years of his first accident so I thought we had time.
