About this campaign
Tobie is a loving and playful baby I rescued from my local shelter. They informed me she was quite the adventurer, traveling across various towns at 5 months old before being picked up. She was very shy at first, not socializing with other cats, but once she came home her personality surprised us all and she runs things now.
October loves kisses and scratches, and shes always ready for a treat. Anytime someone walks in the apartment, she must be greeted with a little scratch or she show her disapproval by staring at our guest until she has been formally acknowledged.
Shes very silly and sometimes holds her lil tongue out. She has a crown shaped bed that she refuses to use as anything other than an obstacle course for play, and pretends to be disinterested until that toy goes out of sight. Once it does, she wiggles her lil tush and pounces. Shes quite athletic and isn't scared to jump from her cat tree to catch her prey.
Unfortunately, Tobie found a couple of hair ties and decided they would make a fine dining experience. Luckily, she did throw up two of them, but the x-rays were inconclusive and the vets aren’t able to identify how many more she ate. She is currently hospitalized and being closely monitored by the wonderful staff of Aloha Pet & Bird Hospital.
I am an autistic, full time college student working a part-time job, and vet bills have pilled up quickly in the past 24 hours. This has been a tremendous stressor for me as Tobie means the world to me, and seeing her unwell is very mentally taxing. Pls help bring her home.
