Odie is a 11 year old Pomeranian in Milwaukie, OR, who needs $500 for Abdominal Ultrasound.

Odie came to me after years of neglect, there was a lady fostering him (friend) and I learned that they were considering putting him down. He already was returned from possible adoptees stating the challenges Odie faced were too much for them. So I took him in knowing there would be challenges.

Odie is a senior Pomapoo who spent years without proper care. When I brought him home, I knew he needed help — but I didn’t know how serious his condition truly was. His first vet visit revealed a heart murmur, possible heart disease, severe dental disease, painful infected teeth, and a serious skin infection that requires immediate treatment. He struggles to eat, he’s uncomfortable,

When Odie came to us it was obvious he was not used to affection, so we took it slow with him. I have a pit/lab mix Decker which is also a rescue, and I wasn't sure if he would welcome Odie but he looks after Odie and he follows Decker everywhere. Odie has suffered horrible neglect and deserves to be happy and pain free.

I'm a disabled senior and live off a very low fixed income and will be having a hip and knee replacement in September. I was able to get his ear infection and skin infection treated (on going) But unfortunately, I can't afford any more then that. PLEASE HELP ODIE
