Odie is a 8 year old American Staffordshire Terrier in New Caney, , who needs $3,500 for Epiglottis Surgery.

My dogs name is Odie, I have had him since I was in high school and I am now 27 years old and he is 8. I have done through many many things with my sweet boy. We have slept on streets together, ran away from floods/natural disasters, gone over the road trucking where he made me feel safe, lost relationships and started new ones, been through absolute rock bottom and the top together. ❤️

Odie recently had a foreign body surgery where we found out he has something serious going on with his epiglottis, it is cutting off his airway making him unable to breathe properly without surgical intervention. I was told he will eventually suffocate from this if it is left untreated too long as he cannot stay on steroids to suppress since they don’t agree with him.

Odie is very special to me because he is the last dog that I have from my childhood and has gone through the most with me and always been there no matter who or what I lost, I have left people in the dust for him. I have sold things for him and he is absolutely worth all of that and then some. I cannot imagine my life without this goofy boy. He also performs deep pressure therapy for my anxiety.

I have recently spent over 5 thousand dollars on his foreign body surgery and trying to find out what’s wrong with him. I have sold my most valuable things and now he needs another surgery to which I simply cannot borrow from anyone or afford. I have maxed out all credit.
