Odie is a 6-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in Pleasant Hill, OH, who needs $1,000 for Neuter.

Odie came into my life in 2016 as small puppy. He has one brother and one sister. Both of his parents are show dogs champions. We live in a small village in Ohio in tented house. We were both left by my ex wife who had been cheating on me and financially moved to another state. To keep Odie, I had to battle her in court because she wanted to take Odie away from me.

I live alone with Odie. We moved to USA from Europe back in 2017. During that time, I went through the divorce that was very rough on me and I can honestly say that Odie at that time, absolutely saved my life. If it wasn’t for him, I would not be here anymore. I feel strong connection with my puppy Odie and would do anything I can to make his life better and healthy.

Odie is the best dog ever. The breed itself is awesome but Odie goes beyond that breed characteristics. He is the best cuddler, his look makes me forget bad things and his presence is helping me with my anxiety. He truly is my emotional support animal. There is absolutely no one who wouldn’t like Odie.

Last few days Odie had hard time walking. It seemed like he hurt his back. Yesterday I got home from work and he was screaming in pain. I immediately took him to my vet where they put him on morphine to control his pain. After they did an xRay, they saw that his prostate is enlarged which blocks his way to poop and pee. Odie was sent home with medicine and scheduled surgery for next week.

I am a single man, working long hours just to survive. I am working hard to find better job but being an immigrant in State of Ohio makes it very hard. I am 1099 employee with very variable income. Also I am still financially paying for my divorce.
