Odin was an unexpected adoption. My current service dog needed retired and I was looking into more traditional breeds when someone recommended a breeder with Doberman puppies. I ended up adopting Odin and to my surprise he started detecting my high heart rates while training him to do basic PTSD tasks. He has truly helped fill his sisters shoes and I’m so proud of him and how far he’s come.

Odin is muzzle trained and we live in a camper. Well despite this being a routine for 3 months of muzzles go on before we leave for work (the free moving muzzles that allow them to drink b it not tear things up since the camper is too small for their crates) , I had come home to the muzzle pulled off and the only thing we found missing was a large seed/pit that we had learned he swallowed

He’s literally my lifeline and I don’t have the means to start over. He’s a year in the making, my best friend, the reason I don’t have to go to the hospital so often, he’s literally my everything and the thought of being without him hurts just as bad as the though of losing a human family member.

I’m literally just now getting back into work after a bad health spell that put me down for several months . I current can only work part time and just paid all of my beginning of the month bills.. I have about $200 but who truly plans for this kind of emergency?
