Odin is a 2 year old Australian Shepherd in Provo , UT, who needs $2,000 for 2 Neck Bones to be Fused After Removing Disk.

We picked up Odin from a breeder that we now suspect to be a puppy mill, he had severe anxiety and behavioral issues when we first brought him home due to the trauma he had to go through before we picked him up. Now after months of training and encouragement, he is a happy, smiley dog who loves to run and meet new people!

It seems like a nerve has slipped in between some disks in his neck and it is affecting his ability to walk and stand, he is now in constant pain. We need to get surgery for him to be able to walk and live a normal life again, otherwise, he'll be in so much pain that the merciful thing to do would be to put him down.

He is currently being treated at Blue Pearl in Sandy, Utah.

Odin lives with his brother alphonse and they do everything together. They enjoy playing fetch with stuffed animals and trying to herd each other because they are both shepherd dogs. He is such a sweet dog who has come so far from his days at a puppy mill to being a happy, social dog.

This was an unexpected expense that we have no way of paying for, we are both students and the majority of our income is sucked up by housing and tuition costs.
He isn't even two years old yet and this surgery is life and death.
