About this campaign
Odis came into my life over the lockdown. He was 4 hours old and had barely any life left in him. I bottle fed him, helped him relief himself, and everything else a mother cat would have done. I cried, I prayed, and I battled to keep this little life alive. He is now turning three in a few months, and has had not health problems, until now. I can’t choose his life over money.
He has attached to everyone he has met. Especially my nieces. They were about 5 months old when they met him. He has grown up with them. When I moved back to the city, I found my partner. Odis never leaves his side. He crawls up on shoulders and will throw himself in your arms. He loves humans, and we all love him.
He loves fetching, literally anything. He climbs on top on the cupboards when I’m cooking and makes sure I’m doing everything right. He will come into the shower with you and will gladly go on walks when able. The second the door opens, he’s there waiting for you. He loves his brother and pesters him any chance he gets. Loves when you stretch him and his belly rubs.
He started showing signs of a Uti. I thought this was odd in a male cat. I got him medicine and he started to recover. A week later I woke up and he was sprawled on the floor, not wanting to move a paw. I picked him up and he relieved himself all over me. I brought him in and we found out he had a blockage. Turned out to be stones in his bladder and blood lining everything. He needed surgery, now.
I just graduated college. I’m paying back my private loans and trying to find a career job. I’m a server and all that money goes to bills that have been planned out. I can’t choose his life over money. But I’m drowning and I can’t lose him. He is my baby. I raised him.
