About this campaign
This little guy was recently adopted by our family at just four months old. Our local animal shelter found little Ogie on the street and he was very unsocialized. Now he is as happy as can be living and roaming in our apartment with his big brother Boq (Weird cat names, I know! They're from musicals!) He lives a healthy and happy life just a speed bump got in the way.
This little boy has helped me and my partner with emotional support over the past few months that we have had him. We have also socialized him since he was an un-socialized kitten. He is very playful and is always wrestling with his brother! He is very sweet and is a major cuddler, and he is a big contribution to our family. Since he was born on the streets he fights for food any second he gets!
We are in a low-income apartment with both of us working full-time retail jobs and both taking at least five classes. We are pretty exhausted not to even mention the pandemic. We are selling furniture, creating an etsy shop, etc because this little guy's life means the world
Ogie is very adventurous- especially with items he can't eat! Since we have gotten him we have kept every little crumb and tiny object tucked away or off the floor. But he managed to swallow something that is currently stuck in his stomach. This object is just sitting there and if it is not removed soon the object could fall into his intestines and end his life. This is an URGENT procedure!
His favorite room is the bathroom because he ADORES the bathtub. He jumps around all day and has helped bring so much joy into these dark times. My partner has been struggling with one of the hardest experiences in her life, and this little guy has given her so much joy. He has definitely been the light of our world at the moment.
