About this campaign

We rescued Oli when he was 8 months old, right after my childhood dog passed away. We felt like we needed a new start, so we went to the nearest animal shelter and found this little orange furball- he had been returned twice in his short life span! Our gain, their loss! Now Oli, my partner and I spend our evenings watching birds and relaxing on the couch.

Oli has never been much of a cuddler but he does love to give a good headbutt to my partner and I. he usually spends his days lounging near the window, chirping at birds or sprawled in the sun on the floor. he loves to greet us at the door, and immediately starts meowing, purring and rolling up a storm! he has his own squishmallow collection that he likes to smack around.

Oli is a very cool cat. he's quite vocal, he loves to meow at the top of his little kitty lungs and let us know how he's feeling. he is also an upcoming cat soccer player, as his favorite toys are all balls! hes also a known yogurt fiend- no cup of yogurt is safe around here!

We recently discovered our Oli has extreme stomatitis, to the point of tooth loss and decay. We were referred to Companion Animal Dentistry, where they have decided the best course of treatment would be a full dental extraction. without this, he will be in considerable pain and discomfort for the remainder of his life.

The expected costs for this surgery is almost quadruple our monthly income. I am partially disabled so I can only maintain one job at a time, and my partner has two right now, but even with these positions we are still flabbergasted on how we can save up for this.
