Olive was found as a stray, roaming the streets of Dallas all alone at just 3 years old. Defenseless, afraid, and so hungry, she was scooped up and taken into the safety of Pooch Savers Rescue.

Due to the diligent eyes of Olive's caretakers, they began to notice she was showing signs of pyometra, a life-threatening infection of the uterus that requires immediate surgery. Without surgery, Olive could become rapidly ill and lose her life. They rushed her to Dallas Animal Urgent Care where their suspicions were confirmed and Olive needed emergency surgery to remove her infected uterus.

It is unknown how long Olive roamed all by herself or what she endured as a stray. We do know though that she is incredibly sweet and one of the calmest dogs that the rescue has been able to help. She absolutely loves to cuddle and gives so much love to her caretakers. She is such a delight.

Fortunately, Olive's surgery went well, and she is recovering, but the cost of the emergency visit and surgery rapidly added up. Pooch Savers Rescue made the decision to help save Olive, despite the cost. They now need your help and support by donating to her medical bills.
