About this campaign
Olive came into our lives a 8 weeks old after we lost our 12 year old Mastiff. We fostered her, fell in love, endured the puppy velociraptor, and have doted on her. We knew going into it that she might have some knee issues due to her size, but we love her and would do anything for her. She has 2 little brothers, Shadow and Remus, who are looking forward to having their momma back 100%
Olive needs TPLO surgery, which will range between $5-10k depending on the damage to her knee. She tore her knee, and to have a good quality of life, it needs to be repaired, or we run the risk of her other leg being damaged and her quality of life coming into question.
Olive is the biggest ham I have ever met. She hasn't met another dog, person or kid that she doesn't love. She is a very special dog and friend to us and she lights up any room that she enters. I have never met such a happy, gentle, funny giant in my life. Not only does she love people, she also has the ability to lift up anyone she meets.
I am on a limited income with very high medical bills due to a chronic disease that may result in needing a transplant. So much of my pay goes to my bills and that isn't fair to her. To have her active, mobile and happy will relieve so much worry for me.
