Olive is a 9-year-old Lab Mix in Virginia Beach, VA, who needs $2,000 for CT and Rhinoscopy.

Olive was a rescue all the way from Puerto Rico. She is a mixed labrador and was surrendered by her owner there for reasons unknown. Because she is not a puppy she would have been over looked. I reached out to Island Dog Rescue online and told them what I was looking for and she has been in our home since May 14, 2021. She lives with me, my daughter and bunny rabbit named Rabbi.

She loves to hang out with her best buddy Rabbi when ever she can and give him kisses ( I don't think Rabbi likes it very much) she loves to go camping with us, be in the sun. She also loves swimming, letting her Lab side shine! When I am not home she hangs out with my daughter but disowns her as soon as I walk in the house and proceeds to follow me everywhere I go.

Olive is terrified of thunder and has anxiety but so does my daughter. She really has helped her be more confident. She loves to sniff things and really go all in! She doesn't just sniff but puts her nose right in it! Sadly I believe that is what has caused this problem.

At first the sneezing started. I noticed she was more sensitive to smoke or strong smells. Then her nose started runny and she was getting congested. We have tried allergy medicine and antibiotics the doctor believes that she has something in her nose causing the irritation and swelling. She needs a CT and rhinocopy. She sees Dr. Miller at Midway Veterinarians.

I'm a single mom working for a inner-city high school taking care of sick kids and they don't pay much. Now I need help taking care of my sick baby. I rescued her from a high kill area so she could have a better life with us and so we could have a better life with her.
