Oliver is a 1.5-year-old Great Pyrenees in Chandler, IN, who needs $1,129 for Heartworm Treatment.

Oliver was adopted in July of 2022 from a farm in Illinois. This poor baby had been running on the property with absolutely NO human interaction.

He was and still is absolutely terrified of humans, except for me. I am the ONLY one that he allows to pet him and give him love.

I have had Oliver for 1 year now and he has made so much progress. He will now stay in the same room with other people, but still will not let them pet him or get within 3 feet of him. It breaks my heart.

He is the silliest boy in the world who loves to play with canine siblings, Ivy and Max, He is so darn smart ...sometimes too smart for his own good. He is an escape artist and all of the neighbors and even the local police know and love him...even if it is from a distance.

Oliver was just diagnosed with heartworm. I am devastated. He has been on heartworm prevention since I got him and even tested negative on his first vet visit.

Unfortunately, it can take over a year for them to show up in a test. The vet explained that he already had heartworm when I adopted him. This simply breaks my heart.

Many of you that know me, know that I never ask for help. I take pride in handling things on my own. At the same time, Oliver's heartworm treatment cost has hit me really hard. I am on Social Security Disability due to several different medical issues that make me unable to work. We would be blessed for any help that you could provide. Thank you so very much.
