About this campaign
Oliver is an underdog, and he needs your help.
An animal lover found him as a stray in Queens, New York, covered in urine, feces, and badly matted.
They contacted Remember Me Rescue NY, who took Oliver in and immediately noticed something wasn't right.
"His eyes would go in opposite directions," Michele D. from the group tells Waggle. "He has limited vision and bumps into things. He will often walk in circles."
A neurologist determined Oliver has hydrocephalus -- fluid on his brain. He could have been born that way, or it could have been due to an injury. But the pressure causes the brain to die.
Oliver's best chance at a bright future is to have a shunt inserted in his brain to relieve the pressure. It's a risky operation, but he's just a puppy and deserves a shot!
Will you give to help Oliver get the surgery he urgently needs?
