Oliver is a 1-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier in O Fallon, MO, who needs $2,000 for TPLO and MPL.

After losing our lab in November 2020, our family adopted Oliver in mid-December 2020. He is the BEST boy - so loving and fun! He LOVES to play ball and frisbee & unfortunately, due to his injury, he has been unable to do so for over 2 months.
Oliver lives at home with my husband and I, and our 7 year old daughter. I'm able to work from home each day, so have lots of time to spend with him.

If Ollie could play frisbee and fetch all day long - I'm certain he would! I work from home and Ollie and I have a solid routine each day. He loves to watch out the window in my office at people walking. We take breaks together to take a walk, play in the yard or just sit together on the floor for belly rubs.

I love when Oliver tips his head to the side when we are talking to him. He gives hugs by leaning in to your body & will even place his head on your shoulder. His bestie lives across the street & he loves play dates with her to run around in our fenced yard. Due to his injury, we have had to limit play dates.

Oliver began limping in late December 2021. After a visit to the vet, we were referred to an Orthopedic Surgeon; we also sought out a second opinion at a Rehab Center. The end result is, Oliver needs surgery on both hind legs. He has a tear in his cruciate ligament & needs a patellar sublaxation on both knees. We have chosen Back on Track Vet Hospital & rehab Center for treatment.

Oliver is family & we want more than anything to have him back up & running around, having play dates & catching balls all day long. This is a major expense and it was quite unexpected.
