About this campaign

Oliver came into my life as a gift. I have had him since he was a wee baby. He has been my companion and my only family for the past 6 years. We live in a house with a couple of roommates, but my Oli usually just sleeps on my pillow when I am not home, or just gazes out the window. He likes watching birds and chipmunks.

Oliver is a very sweet cat, but also a little scardy. He will come to you and ask for pets if he knows you, but if you are someone visiting he will mostly likely hide, and stay in my room. He loves my roommates and likes to lay on the ground so he can get belly rubs from them. And he always purrs so loudly, it's adorable

My cat is my only family. I do not have family around me at all.
He has been my one and only since he came into my life. I do have friends, but he is the only one who has always been there for me, and I need to do everything in my power to be there for him. He is all I got

On Sunday 8/16 I noticed Oliver's paw was swollen a bit. I rushed Oliver to the ER in Peoria. The doctor on duty did not even touch Olive. He took one look at his paw, and said it is an abscess. He gave me antibiotics to be given every 12 hours. I followed the doctor's instructions. But that didn't help much. Now the infection spread and his foot needs to get amputated. Oliver has a smooshy face, and his eyes always get so big when he hears any loud noise, and ears go all the way back which makes his smooshy face look very funny when he does. Whenever I try to take a picture with him he looks utterly shocked, and my friends love seeing his shocked face in pictures. It is quite hilarious .
