About this campaign
Oliver was born outside, rehabilitated to health for a few months when I got him at 4months of age. I was 4months pregnant at the time and knew it was a sign. Since having him in our home he has not spent a night elsewhere. He has a little brother Kevin who is also furry and a brother with hands and feet.
I knew he’d have health concerns as he got older , recently he was diagnosed with FIC. I took him to VCA since I was not the one transporting us. That is where they did almost nothing but sent him home with painkillers telling me I’d be lucky if he was with me, after $2.2k.
Oliver is special to me because he is a lot like me, I have autism and am rather antisocial. Oliver is the same, and I love that about him. He likes his solitary, but loves to play with Kevin. He isn’t a fan of people in my apartment that aren’t his people. Every night when I lay my kid down, he sits like a person on the couch waiting for me.
I am a stay at home mom to a 2 year old. I signed up for care credit because that was my only option to do something for Oliver. I got approved for 2.2k and VCA used it all without actually helping him. Oliver has been my rock through life and I gave him a safe home.
