About this campaign

Olivia urgently needs your help!

She was discovered injured and dragging her front left leg. One look at Olivia and her rescuer knew she needed our help. "She was sweet, her leg was just dangling and smelt terrible," the compassionate lady told the vet clinic when he brought her into urgent care.

And that's when One By One Animal Advocates came to her rescue. They saw the desperate situation she was in.

Someone applied a bandage on Olivia's arm a few months ago, unknowingly causing more harm than good. The tightness of the bandage cut off circulation, preventing any chance of healing - causing her arm to rot and die.

Olivia is hospitalized and receiving intensive treatment. She is in shock and requires constant monitoring. She is receiving IV fluids to keep her hydrated, high-power pain medication to alleviate her suffering, and antibiotics to fight infections.

"The video is graphic- she was sedated and still reacting to the tremendous amount of pain she is in as the bandage was removed," Heather A. tells Waggle.

Unfortunately, Luna's arm must be amputated due to a severe infection. It will also give her the best option to have the best chance at a happy and healthy life.
