About this campaign
Ollie came into our lives by pure fortunate circumstance. Brandon and I were looking into adding another fur-baby to our already fur-family if 3 dogs and we thought a kitten would be a nice addition. I happen to come across an ad on Craigslist of a family in Mora that had 1 kitten left available. I contacted the family and the rest is history...so to speak.
Ollie has 2 dog "brothers" and 1 dog "sister". He loves to play with the smallest of the 3...as they are pretty compatible in the play area. He also enjoys running "racetrack" throughout the house after he eats, which consists of pouncing off the 2 larger dogs backs. As for Brandon and myself, he loves to cuddle and follows us around when he wants a treat or two.
We are on a fixed income and I am have recently started a job, so the financial means needed for Ollie's procedure weighs heavy on us. It is a procedure that needs to be done due to the fact that the polyp is growing and every time he eats or drinks, he feels discomfort.
Ollie has developed a polyp in his right ear. He has completed 2 rounds of oral steroids to help with the inflammation...which the 2nd round did not help. He has also completed 2 rounds of ear drops to combat infection due to lack of the fluid being able to drain. Being as the the 2nd round of steroids did not help, he is on steroid/ hydrocortisone ear drops until surgery just for comfort.
Ollie has favorite toys that he will play with for almost an hour at a time...those are plastic cat springs. He will toss, roll, and bounce them all over the floors from room to room. He also tries to play with the dogs toys when the dogs are playing with them...that is a funny sight to see, considering they are big toys. He definitely tries though. He also drats in and out of his crinkle tunnel
