I went to a rescue group to adopt a kitten and came home with his brother, too! Ollie was just a tiny, little, black olive as a kitten and had terrible pneumonia that made it hard for him to eat and breathe. Since I used to be a vet tech and had worked in animal rehab, the rescue manager asked me to foster him on a temporary basis to get him well enough to be adopted. All he did for the first several weeks I fostered him was lay around and watch his brother play. He needed lots of extra care to nurse him back to health, but we got him there. Needless to say, Ollie was a "failed foster" and he's been my best friend ever since. Ollie is a solid black cat with no white, although as he's gotten older he's grown one white whisker on the right side of his mouth.
