About this campaign
Ollie is my sweet service dog and has been by my side through so many challenges. Recently, he was diagnosed with diabetic ketosis—a life-threatening condition that we never saw coming. We didn’t even know he had diabetes until this crisis happened. Since then, Ollie has needed constant monitoring, lab work, urinalysis, and a range of diabetic supplies like special food, insulin, needles, and test
Ollie was diagnosed with Diabetic Ketosis, by Adobe Animal Hospital in Yuba city California. We took him in when we noticed he started eating peeing in the house, and drinking more water than normal. We had no idea he had diabetes. He gets regular vet care, and has had numerous blood work and tests, but this was never found until Adobe tested him.
Ollie has such a huge heart. He loves his grandma and grandpa. He rolls over for belly rubs as soon as they walk through the door. We are all heart broken for all he’s been through, through his life.
I went through a divorce and had to start all over again on my own. We had nothing. But, each other. I’m on SS disability, and barely make ends meet. It’s been so hard keeping up with bills and his care. But, I have always put his needs first.
