About this campaign
Ollie and his littermates where found in my storage unit, abandoned by their mother. I didn't want another cat, but Ollie was sickly and nobody would want him. The local shelter will not take kittens who are not weaned without the mother. I had to bottle feed them all, place them in homes, etc. I kept Ollie. Brought him back to health with the help of the community and local vets. He is now three.
Dr. Susan Murphy has diagnosed him a s chronic upper respitory cat with a nasty lung infection. He was hospitalized for four days at Brighton Greens Veterinary Hospital in Grass Valley, CA. We nearly lost him. Now we know what, and how to deal with it. He received the best of care thanks to a friend who agreed to front the money on her credit card. His prognosis is now great. His bill is huge.
He's been a source of inspiration as an underdog (undercat) who made it with the help of those in the community, and his stubborn will to live. I am disabled, and he's of great support to me. Uber playful, goofy, uncoordinated, lovable are great words to describe him. He's a trooper. He's great company. He's quite bonded with his people.
His expenses were generously fronted by a wonderful woman who agreed to put it on her credit card. Ollie's expenses where $3500. I am making a special pie to raise funds called Ollie Olliebarry but that's a lot of pies. Ollie thanks you. I thank you for any contribution.
