Omelet is a 5-year-old black-and-white rescue cat we adopted on November 13th. We were told he was healthy, but soon noticed signs that something was wrong. He now lives with our family in Bella Vista, AR, and has settled in quickly. He is gentle, affectionate, follows us everywhere, and has already become part of our home.

After adoption, we learned the rescue had been informed a month earlier that Omelet had stage 3 dental disease and a cracked tooth but this wasn’t disclosed to us. Our vet(Village Pet Hospital)says he’ll likely need three extractions, with more possible during his December 12th cleaning. He received an antibiotic/anti-inflammatory shot and is otherwise healthy. The procedure is estimated at $573.

Omelet is incredibly gentle and loving. He follows us from room to room, sleeps with us, and is calm and patient with our infant son. We lost our previous cat suddenly in April, before our baby was born, and Omelet has helped fill that empty space in our home. He has brought comfort, warmth, and healing, and we want him to finally be pain-free.

We adopted Omelet thinking he was healthy, then learned he needs urgent dental care. This unexpected cost is hard while caring for our infant and maintaining regular bills . Any support will help us get him out of pain and let him finally enjoy his new home comfortably.
