Ona needs medical help!

Ona was adopted by her mom way back when the rescue first began. She was a very pregnant stray in a rough neighborhood in Tucson. We were unable to catch her and unsuccessful trapping so when she had the puppies we cornered her and got them to safety. She was very unsocialized and her foster mom ended up keeping her.

They have gone through some tough times but through it all Denise and Ona have stuck together. Ona has even welcomed many rescue dogs and cats into their home over the years!

Now around 9 years old and as a senior, Ona has poor dental condition and also could benefit from some bloodwork and vaccine updates. We would like to help this sweet girl and her forever human, Denise, and ensure that they can remain together and are hoping to get Ona scheduled for surgery by the end of September.

Since our inception in 2017, we have proudly saved over 1,700 animals.
