One - Eye Willy is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in Hendersonville, NC, who needs $2,000 for Enucleation Surgery.

This little guy came to my back door 2 nights ago begging for help. I posted him on Nextdoor to see if anyone was missing him and no one claimed him. Took him to the vet and they also scanned him for a microchip and none was found. So as a family we decided to do what we can to help this little guy.

The vet at Haywood Animal Hospital believes he was either hit by a car or in a fight. His eye has been damaged and they say he needs to have it removed. Now he’s in a fight for his life. I am fearful if we can’t raise the funds to help him we will have to surrender him and they may euthanize him.

One - Eye Willy obviously hasn't been feeling the best since he arrived at our back door. At first he was scared we put food on the porch and he started eating and in between bites he was showing his gratitude by rubbing on our legs and following us around. Even though he is hurt and was starving he is extremely loving. All he wants is to be held loved on and taking care of.

One - Eye Willy came to us begging to be helped. We could have sent him to the shelter where he may have been put down or we could have closed the door and ignored him however that is not who we are! This little guy deserves to live a healthy life and hopefully he will!
