Oni is a 11 month old German Shepherd Dog in Saint Cloud, FL, who needs $1,000 for Cryptorchidectomy (K9 Castration).

Oni is our 11 month old giant baby. We have his mom and dad and recently took in a 20 week old puppy GSD that loves and cuddles Oni constantly. He is mostly an indoor dog and loves playing outside in the hose and water.

Long story short, his testicals never dropped. The dr said we have up to a year to wait and then they need to be removed or he could develop cancer. We weren't expecting the costs to be near $900 and the year mark is coming up. The pet hospital is Narcoossee Animal Hospital. I could look for cheaper vets, but I trust these Dr's more than anything.

He is by far the best and smartest GSD I have ever had. He is sweet with my kids and strangers and is a gentle giant with our 20 week old rescue female GSD. I'm lucky to work from home and he's joined some of my meetings with me or sleeps next to me in my office. I couldn't imagine not being able to sleep next to him ever night.

We knew the surgery was coming up and was hoping the testicals might drop so as not to do such an invasive surgery. But unfortunately they didn't. We weren't expecting it to be between $800-$1000 and due to the time frame just can't save up fast enough.
