About this campaign
Our family adopted Orange and Hannah year ago, as indoor cats, Orange is a lovely shy cat who never seemed to want to go outside. About 6 weeks ago she got out and despite our best efforst to find her she was nowhere to be found. A week ago we had given up hope. Then this morning we found her at a neighbors--very dehydrated and out of sorts.
Initial diagnostic at the vet has already cost 1400, that we don't have. Her liver enzymes are elevated and other organs seem affected. The vet initially recommended overnight treatment. That would run at least two thousand dollars more and as much as four thousand dollars more period that we just cannot afford. So we're going to try outpatient treatment and keep our fingers crossed.
Our 4 yr old daughter is especially attached to Orange, they often nap together. She took a long time to bond with everyone because she's very shy. Our other cat Hannah just has not been the same since her bonded kitty disappeared. Shes the sweetest kitty Ive ever owned.
My husband and I are struggling to make ends meet. He is employed on call and his work schedule ends up and faced unemployment for nearly 6 months this year.I've had to stay home with my eleven month old son. Last month we had a 5000 car repair that exhausted our savings.
