Orangey came into our lives as a kitten and quickly became family. He lives with us, our children, and our other pets. He is affectionate, playful, silly, and has a huge personality. He loves cuddling, playing, climbing onto our shoulders, and squeezing himself into any box or container he can find. He is deeply bonded with our family and brings so much comfort, laughter, and love to our home.

On July 29, Orangey suffered a severe injury to his left hind leg that left a deep wound and severed his Achilles tendon. He needs surgery to repair the injury and give him the best chance of keeping normal use of his leg. Without treatment, his options are much more serious. He is being treated at Lilac Hill Veterinary and we are doing everything possible to get him the care he needs.

Orangey is our little shadow. He follows us everywhere, climbs onto our shoulders, curls up against us and always wants to be part of whatever we’re doing. He’s playful, goofy and endlessly curious, and somehow turns every box, bag or container into his own little apartment.
