About this campaign
Oreo is an indoor cat. He lives with his sister kitty who’s 1 year old and Kloe a German Shepherd who’s 4 years old. They all get along great and interact nicely with each other. Oreo’s mother still lives at my aunt's house. Oreo preferred to sleep in my youngest son’s bed because that’s where he's more comfortable. It would crush me if I’m not able to help him for my son’s sake.
I got him from a family member and have had him since he was 1 month old. Ever since he has been a joy to my family, especially my 2 children. Oreo is more like a lap cat. You cannot sit down for more than 5 minutes without him roaming around your legs and jumping on your lap. He gives the most beautiful affection and hugs.
Oreo is my little alarm clock. He wakes me up every morning at the same time by scratching or knocking at my door, and he won’t stop until I wake up to feed him. At night he waits for me by the door. No matter what time I come back from work, he will be right there waiting for me by giving me his little paws.
I went to the low cost clinic with him called Wellness Waggin' in Boston, Massachusetts and I was told by the veterinarian that he needed most of his teeth extracted due to stage 4 gingivitis. Apparently he has one tooth, I think it’s a molar, that only has a little bit left that also needs to be extracted.
I only work part time with 2 children to take care of. I don’t really have the means to afford the medical costs of these extractions. I love all my animals and it would hurt me a lot if I’m not able to help him out.
