Oreo is a rescue we adopted in 2021. From the moment he came home, he brought endless energy, a goofy personality, and unconditional love. He lives with me and my two children on Long Island and has been our constant source of comfort through some of the hardest years of our lives.

Oreo was evaluated at Bond Vet Roslyn after a soft lump on his shoulder grew rapidly over several weeks. What we thought initially was nothing turned out to be our worst case scenario. Cytology confirmed a subcutaneous mast cell tumor. He now needs staging tests and surgery with a veterinary surgical specialist to remove the tumor as soon as possible.

Oreo is the sweetest, happiest dog. He loves swimming, stealing paper towels when he thinks no one is watching, stealing socks and making everyone laugh with his goofy personality. He patiently tolerates visits from my sister's energetic Bernedoodle, Winnie, and is incredibly gentle with my children. My 9 year old son is "his person". He's not just a pet he's family.
