Oreo Jones is a 4-year-old Mixed Breed in Decatur, IL, who needs $2,000 for Torn ACL.

A gentleman had a litter of puppies that he thought was full blooded pitbull. Once he realized they was mixed he didn’t want the puppies. He gave me Oreo soon as she was old enough to leave her mom. Oreo lives inside the house with me. She has a brother named Gunner. He is full blooded pitbull. He is 3 years old and we had him since he was old enough to leave his mom.

Oreo sleeps in our living room on an elevated bed directly in front of the heating vent. She is a very gentle and nurturing dog. She is awesome with kids and other dogs. Oreo loves to run! She never sits down. She chases squirrels, birds and even flies while outside or at the dog park. We attend the dog park 3 days a week.

Oreo is an amazing companion. She was our first dog. I also have a 12 year old daughter and they are inseparable! She loved to sleep in bed with her. She hears everything and always warns us when someone is approaching the house. She loves to watch the grandkids play. She is very patient and observant.

We believe Oreo has torn her ACL. She has been limping for 2 days. She is still her same happy self but she can’t run around like she use to. It may not require surgery because she is beginning to walk on it.

I just paid $1000 for her and Gunner yearly exam, shots, and 3 different treatments for an ear infection Gunner has. I know I can’t afford X-rays at this time.. and Lord forbid she need surgery.
