About this campaign

We live in East Falls and rent a beautiful home with a front and small backyard. We live by Kelly drive and the beautiful river. There are four floors in the home, so plenty of space for him to explore and to also have his own den area to have to himself.

He is very attached to me (Katharine), wherever I go, he’ll follow like a shadow. He is very quirky in the sense that he socializes differently with everyone. He’s a dog, so of course it’s important to always supervise him with children, but with my 5 & 6 year old he has grown accustomed and very watchful over yet friendly with. He has a healthy bond with them. He also loves his dad, Danny.

He loves to eat fruits. Since day one, he was very good at sitting and laying down and “leave it” commands when prompted with a treat. He’s very agile. He’s so smart and you can really see his mind working. He loves to be close to us all the time. He’s very playful with other dogs. He has beautiful, intuitive blue “ghost” eyes that peer into your soul when it’s time to give affection.

Orion was found with a right leg fracture upon waking up in the early morning. It’s speculated he may have tried to climb on the counter or chair and fell. The room was closed off and barricaded so only the kitchen was available while we slept. It is not clear how his leg became broken but he was in so much pain. It is not clear which hospital would be treating him at this time for the surgery.

I am a single parent to two children and I am doing all I can to pay for their needs such as tuition and putting food on the table. I can’t afford this unexpected expense. To see him run around freely without pain or limitations would be such a blessing.
