About this campaign
I own an organic farm & which includes a feline sanctuary for 51 years. Oscar was born in July 2022 . A residence about 2500' from my home has many cats living outdoors, uncared for, & neglected. The cats often show up here seeking nourishment, medical treatment, shelter, & love.
Oscar was born a meek tiny kitten whom I protected immensely until he was a good enough size to interact with his siblings & other family members . He thrived until acquiring a virus & secondary infection which left his eyes infected last month. Under treatment, his right eye became unresponsive last week. Spoke with Dr. Theuerkauf & switched meds with no improvement.
Oscar loves everyone that he comes in contact with. He is sweetheart being that loves to cuddle & please. Please help him to improve. He's my little angel.
Possible Enucleation of the right eye or Laser Treatment
I'm a senior living within a fixed income, Medical, Medicaid, & MI EBT Food Assistance. I struggle to pay for emergencies after caring for my animals, myself, paying for food, fuel, the monthly bills within these inflationary times due the global pandemic Covid.
