Oscar is a 8-year-old Maltese Mix in Ishpeming , MI, who needs $535 for Dental Exam, Cleaning, and Possible Extractions.

Oscar came into my life 6 years ago from a very abusive home. His bones in his back and shoulders were protruding and his prior owner beat him severely. I couldn't leave the poor little thing there shaking so bad from anxiety and fear. I myself am mentally disabled on disability. He's had his shots and neutered but his teeth are a mess and I cannot afford to take him in..I've tried everything. Pleasehelp

I'm all alone except for my little buddy. We walk everyday and we play and he goes everywhere with me. My doctor has made him my emotional support animal. He's the star of the local grocery store and many people in our neighborhood love him. He's like a child to me and shares my bed. I wouldn't know what to do without him. We've had a rough year due to the loss of my son and Oscar has comforted me

He's special because he has been through hell and ir hasn't dampened his temperament. He'll play fetch all day and loves going for nature walks. The funniest thing he does is jump into the bathtub when he wants a bath and I think it's funny how he knows where the pet isle in walmart is. He gets so excited.

Oscar has the strangest teeth I've ever seen, the bottom ones stick out and he has teeth overlapping teeth. I've tried brushing his teeth , greenness and just about everything I can think of. Fact is he needs vet treatment. His teeth are making him sick. Being on disability doesn't afford much for emotional support animals. Even if they are your only friend.

I am on disability for a mental disorder and I just simply cannot afford such a procedure that he needs to make him happy and healthy again. He first has To be xamined and then his teeth fixed and cleaned. I love him like a child and it would mean the world to both of us.
