Oscar is a 7-year-old Shih Tzu Mix in Mishawaka, IN, who needs $1,250 for Stem Cell Therapy.

Oscar is a rescue dog that I have had for about 4 years. I currently live with my sister because of an accident where my ankle was crushed and I suffered a traumatic brain injury. I live on a limited income and assist my sister with expenses. My sisters husband just left her and she is on social security and we have trouble making ends meet. I put all expenses on my discover card now up to 9000.

Oscar is a very friendly little guy. He knows no stranger and is a happy little pup. Since my mobility is limited he spends most of his time with me unless he is out roaming around the yard. He loves it outside and is hard to get him inside once he is outside. I love the little fella and lost without him.

Oscar loves to play with our cat and they often give each other baths before they start to tussle. Oscar prefers treats to his food so is currently on a diet. He loves cheese and always gets a slice before bed and dances down the hall backwards when he’s waiting for his cheese until his leg injury

Oscar has a torn ligament in his back right leg and requires stem cell transplantation. He goes to various vets and they recommend stem cell transplant because of weakness in his legs and may require additional surgery on other legs in the future so they can keep his stem cells in storage in case he has future needs.

As I mentioned I’m on a fixed income with the high cost of living recently I’m getting further and further behind and my discover card is now up to over 9000.00 so I’m getting very worried.
