About this campaign

March 20, 2010 I walked into his fur mommas home and there he was prancing around with his litter brothers and sister. I knew right away he was my doggie soul mate. In 2015 we moved to Texas after having to leaving a bad situation with my then husband. He provided unconditional love and comfort when I needed it most. After moving we moved in with his Papa. Since then it's been him and me.

Oscar is such a love bug. He is on my lap or next to me 98% of the time. When he's not able to snuggle with me he's with his Papa. He has 2 fur brothers. All 3 cuddle at nap and bed times. He's a piece of me, he's my heart. He's loves everyone and has never met a stranger. He's gentle and loving to everyone.

Oscar's favorite toy is his Gumby toy but also his Lamby if he's in the mood. He's not much of a horse player with his brothers, he's a lover not a fighter :) When you have food he needs it. He has this adorable meerkat stand he puts on display when he wants you to give it to him, despite me telling him to get down so he don't hurt his back.

Oscar has a few years of minor back injuries that's easily treated with bedrest and meds. He was fine at bedtime but at 2 am he was walking around, it sounded strange. I put him back in bed. A bit later I felt him trying to walk down the bed steps so I put him on the floor. He went to lay in his crate. After a vet visit he was diagnosed with a ruptured disc.

I lost my job in March due to medical issues and have been waiting for a disability decision for 2 years. I have a hard time working. I have RA, lupus, AS, Narcolepsy and HMS and am in constant pain. Oscar helps be daily with the needed motivation to get up and be productive
