Oso is a 9-month-old Queensland Heeler in Campo, CA, who needs $600 for Treatment and Care for a Broken Leg.

Our pup was a gift to our son so he would have a dog to grow up with. A boys best friends is his dog! He is so loved by our toddler and loves him right back. We currently live on a ranch so our pup gets to do what he was bred for, herding! He loves his job and his acres of land.

Oso loves to snuggle up in bed with us and take naps curled up on the couch. During the day he enjoys running around the property making sure it’s secure or hang out inside and play with his best friend (our toddler). He plays with his doggy mom and dad and loves life to the fullest soaking up as much learning as possible.

Oso loves everyone in his circle. From his boy, to his doggy parents. He LOVES learning new tricks. His favorite game is fetch in the grass. He goes to the park often so he can run through the grass and have a blast, as we have nothing but dirt on the property.

We are seeking help in paying for his treatment for a cast. While doing his job, he got run over by one of the trucks. The only injury he thankfully sustained was a broken leg. We have gotten an estimate of around $600 for the whole visit. X rays, setting and casting and sedation if needed to make him more comfortable in the process.

I know this seems like s drop in the hat for some, however times have been tough with decrease in wages while maintaining our home and feeding our family. Him getting better would be a dream. As many know Heelers are a working breed, he’s happiest while doing s job.
