About this campaign
I have had my cat for around ten years and he is my baby, He’s the most loving cat I’ve ever had. He lives at home with me and my husband and adored my son who passed away last year. He still sleeps on my sons bed loyally throughout the day and every night. I cannot fathom how I would handle not having Ottis in my life.
Ottis lives with my husband and I and loves us to pieces. He is a healthy eater and has always been playful around the home, making us smile every day. He gets along with everyone he meets and has a very open heart. He loves to nap and just spend time with us throughout the day. He’s very talkative too.
As I stated earlier, Ottis’s best friend was my son Dylan who passed away late last year unexpectedly. Ottis still sleeps in his bed throughout the day and night despite this. He is a very loyal cat to have. He is a very playful cat usually despite his age and gets along with everyone who comes over.
Ottis has a urinary tract obstruction. He is barely able to urinate and this becomes very painful for him obviously and is life threatening. The cause of the blockage is urinary stones we found out from an x-ray when they put him under anesthesia. Surgical removal of the stones is necessary for him to continue living a healthy life.
Having Ottis become ill was an unexpected expense that we frankly just cannot afford. However I can’t imagine putting him down when he was so healthy up to this point.
