Owen is a 1-year-old Tabby in Riverside, CA, who needs $800 for pancreatitis.

We found Owen in a shed abandoned at 2 weeks. We took him home and bottle fed him and loved him since that tiny moment. He loves strong and reminds us to love him! We have 2 other cats and a dog that mothered him and kept him warm at night by letting him sleep with her. What a great mom dog! Owen is a huge part of our family!

Owen sleeps with whomever he chooses. It depends on what he desires at that moment. He has a cuddle time where he wraps his paws around our neck and snuggles to the point that he drools! He loves his breakfast time and runs across the house chasing his mom dog's tail! He growls at strangers at our door like a dog! He is grateful that we rescued him and loved him.

We are on a fixed income due to covid and only one of us is working. We are devastated and worried that today may be his last day. To see Owen like this is breaking our hearts. Owen is a bonding type of animal and we love having our orange buddy by our side.

Owen became sick overnight. We are using Norco Animal Hospital in Norco, CA. They have rotating vets because they are open 7 days a week. Owen started throwing up and stopped eating. He hasn't used the litter box. We have him on a subcutaneous i.v. to hydrate him and antibiotics. We are going back today for x-rays and lab work.

The cuddles that we receive from this big orange cat make every body giggle and laugh. He has to be touching someone or one of the other animals when he is relaxing. he lets us know when there is a humming bird at the feeder at his favorite spot in the kitchen window. He talks constantly talking and answers when we call his name. He will come running!
