Onward and Upward for Ozuna

Ozuna was once adopted as a tiny kitten, but just recently, 5 years later, he was heartlessly dumped outside by the very person meant to protect him. A Good Samaritan found him hiding in a car engine, badly burned across his neck, chest, and rear. When his former owner refused to take him back, Spicy Whiskers Rescue made sure he would get another chance.

Ozuna’s wounds are painful and serious, but his will to live is even stronger. He’s now getting hydrotherapy, antibiotics, and careful wound care each day. Through it all, Ozuna purrs for his caregivers and leans in for affection. With each small step, Ozuna is getting stronger and closer to the life he deserves.

Even after everything he has gone through, Ozuna remains pure sweetness. He trusts, he loves, and he never stops believing that people can be kind. His gentle spirit shines brighter each day as he gets closer to the life he deserves, filled with comfort and care.

Our sweet boy Ozuna is making amazing progress! His wounds are finally starting to heal, and the hydrotherapy has been a game changer in treating his severe burns. Every day, he’s getting stronger — and through it all, he remains the sweetest, most loving cat you could ever meet.
Despite everything he’s been through, Ozuna still purrs, seeks affection, and shows nothing but love. His resilience is nothing short of incredible.
