About this campaign
Ozzie became part of our family 7 1/2 years ago after being adopting him as a puppy from Burlington County Animal Alliance. Since then Ozzie has become a member of the family and is now facing the hardest part of his life.
Ozzie has been diagnosed with a nerve sheath tumor. The next step is to get an MRI to see if he is a surgical candidate. If he is, his only option is to have his front left leg removed. Even though this is very scary to think about, it’s his only option.
Ozzie loves to go for walks in nature. He likes to wade in creeks, rivers, and lakes, but only if he can touch the bottom. Ozzie welcomed two goats into the family two years ago. We were worried that they wouldn’t get along, but they all became fast friends. Right now, since he isn’t very mobile, he loves to sit outside on the front lawn and feel the sunshine on his fur.
My husband has been out of work for two years with a work related injury. My paycheck is paying the bills, but everything that we have gotten done for Ozzie’s medical expenses so far, has been on credit cards.
