Hi, my name is Laura, Ozzy's mom. Ozzy, our 1-year-old orange & white kitty, was adopted 6 months ago from Sister Kitten Rescue in Asheville, North Carolina. He had been a feral cat but Sister Kitten saw his charming personality and decided not to release him. He has the sweetest disposition and is a great addition to our family. He is so young and charming, we feel he deserves a long life.

Last week, it was discovered he had a urinary obstruction. This was a very sudden onset with very few warning signs. Ozzy deteriorated very quickly and hasn't been responding to treatment. He has been in hospital at MedVet Emergency Clinic in Asheville,fighting a urinary tract infection as well as the obstruction. Today, he is in desperate need of a Perineal Urethrotomy Surgery to save his life.

Even though Ozzy has been part of our family only for a short time, his sweet personality has won us all over. He is very affectionate and playful. During his stay at MedVet Emergency Clinic, he has charmed the staff and always has visitors. He loves to race up and down the stairs - he will stop halfway and check to see if you are following him. Ozzy loves to follow us around staying close by.
